• 22nd May 2008 - WAFRY to hit the road!
  Today WA Rural Youth announced they will be going on a road trip in August. The 4 day event commencing on Sunday 24th August and concluding on Wednesday 27th will visit towns throughout the State, hoping to bring about awareness of road safety for young people. MORE...
• 11th MARCH 2008 - YOUNG FARMER OF THE YEAR ANNOUNCED
  John Paul Collins of Katanning has been named WA’s top young farmer after the statewide CSBP WA Rural Youth Young Farmer of the Year Competition at Wagin Woolorama over the weekend.The competition, run by the WA Federation of Rural Youth, consisted of six modules.  Modules test both practical skills and theoretical knowledge.   With new board members from Geraldton, Bruce Rock and Moora and existing members from Quairading, Perth and Katanning, the WAFRY Board is truly representative of young people in rural areas.
